Infrastructure OEM
Network infrastructure OEMs typically provide broad set of telecom product portfolio that includes mobile broadband (3G, WiMax, LTE), various network elements such as core network, transmission, network and data communication networks.
While the infrastructure OEMs provide a lot of important network hardware, hardly any provide end to end network solution that could fully leverage the network capabilities. In the next generation IP network, infrastructure OEMs can bundle damaka's UCCS solution along with the network gear and offer a variety of complete end-to-end solutions to service providers. damaka's rich media application offers presence, conference IM/audio/video, telepresence, Sweeping™ and industry demanded collaboration features like application, document, and desktop sharing, fast file transfer, and a host of other consumer driven features like IPTV, Internet Radio, etc. This enables the OEMs deploy solutions to service providers that leverage the availability of high bandwidth and data throughput of next generation networks.
Mobile Device OEM
Over 1.4 billion mobile devices were sold worldwide in 2008. About 12% of these phones were smartphones that can provide dual mode operation and are capable of high end applications such as video and application sharing. By 2012, the percentage of smartphones to total mobile devices is expected to reach about 25 % - 30%. The fast adoption of these devices is as a result of high processing capacity of the device along with significantly improved 3G networks. With the advent of all IP 4G networks, the demand for video conference and application sharing features will get stronger.
Mobile Device OEMs could leverage damaka Mobile UCCS offering to increase device sales significantly by providing value added services and applications like mobile video conferencing and federation IM where end users can chat with those served by various IM servers. damaka's UCCS solutions are not limited by the device operating system (Windows Mobile, Symbian, iPhone, Android and Palm OS) or by the network on which they operate, like 3G/4G, WiFi and WiMAX. The laptop versions are available for Windows and MAC.
If you are an OEM and need to extend your service offerings to your customers with the above mentioned feature sets and a variety of other features, contact us.
