Siva Chaturvedi
Founder & CEO
Siva has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and information technology industry. Before starting damaka, Siva was a Partner at Prodea, a venture capital firm where he identified investment opportunities, sourced deals and performed due diligence of new ventures seeking early and mid-round financing. Prior to Prodea, Siva was a Director at telecom technologies inc., which was subsequently acquired by Sonus Networks where he continued to lead the professional services division. During his tenure at tti, he has worked with several large corporations like MCI, Qwest, Agilent Technologies, and British Telecom JV in various senior management capacities performing strategic planning and business development. Earlier to telecom technologies, Siva had performed senior technical roles at Ericsson in their data and voice switching platforms.
Siva has six issued and eleven pending US patents in the area of voice and data networking. He holds a BS in Computer Science Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and has done advanced coursework in Electrical Engineering at Southern Methodist University and has an MBA from Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Satish Gundabathula
Co-Founder & CTO
Satish has over 15 years of experience in Telecommunications and Real-Time distributed Systems. Before starting damaka, Satish was a consultant at Verizon where he architected a system for interfacing into PBX, CTI systems and VoIP Platform. Prior to Verizon, Satish was part of the Class 5 SoftSwitch design and architecture team at telecom technologies inc., which was subsequently acquired by Sonus Networks where he continued to work on SIP. Earlier to telecom technologies, Satish was the lead architect for building NEC's next generation NMS Software for their ATM Switches. Prior to NEC, Satish was a lead architect at AVL, a leader in engine test/instrumentation systems. At a very early stage in his career, Satish was an intern at Indian Space Research Organization, working on VDM (The Vienna Development Method).
Satish has five issued and sixteen pending US patents in the area of Peer-to-Peer and Voice Over IP. He earned his BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Kerala, India and an MS in Computer Science from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.
Ramesh Chaturvedi
Chief Strategy Officer
Ramesh has over 15 years of experience in telecommunications, semiconductor, and financial services industries. Prior to joining damaka, Ramesh was a Director of Product Development at Fidelity Investments where he provided leadership for the identification and implementation of new discretionary technology products, enhancement of services and strategic product components. As a part of Corporate Finance, Ramesh was involved in large cross organizational budget planning process, cost reduction and profitability analysis studies. Before Fidelity, Ramesh was a Product Manager for the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus products at Texas Instruments (TI). He had also played key technical and management roles in TI's Process and Design R&Ds. Ramesh started his career with MFS Communications (acquired by MCI) as a Telecom Network Engineer where he was responsible for providing technical support on Ericsson and Nortel voice switching platforms.
Ramesh has two issued US patents in the area of data security and Peer-to-Peer networking. He holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has an MBA from Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Rajaraman Krishnan
Managing Director, damaka India
Rajaram has over 18 years of experience in telecommunications and networking. Prior to joining damaka, Rajaram was a Founder and Managing Director of Solnet Technologies, a consulting services specializing in telecom software development. He has provided telecom consulting services to several clients in the US including Fujitsu, Datameg and Allied Telysyn. Prior to Solnet, Rajaram worked for Fujitsu Network Communications, USA where he was a lead developer contributing to several of their products including their terabit router and ATM switch.
Rajaram holds one patent in the networking field. He holds a BTech in Computer Science Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology at Madras and a MS in Computer Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
